Upper Emerald Pools

Before reaching the upper pools, we passed the lower and middle pools which are a series of pools and waterfalls. Thank goodness we took our famous "shower caps" to cover up our cameras! We were totally soaked. We hiked with our tripods and heavy cameras to the upper emerald pools which took us approximately 3 hours. I'm glad we took the time to hike this because at the end of the trail we came upon this beautiful waterfall and amazing place. We were surrounded by incredibly high red rocks.
